Our core service provides essential children's goods to families at risk of poverty and homelessness, fleeing domestic violence and support for minority groups. Coupled with a strong environmental focus as it rehomes preloved items, Treasure Boxes is one of SA's fastest growing children's charities.
When poverty, homelessness and domestic violence create an uncertain, sometimes dangerous home environment, many South Australian families struggle to provide their kids with the essentials of life; bedding, clothes, toys, even regular meals.

This position will play an integral role in the culture and organisational strength of Treasure Boxes. The Volunteer Coordinator is detail orientated and focused, and responsible for the wellbeing, safety and care of our large database of volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator's responsibilities include recruiting, inducting and training new volunteers, keeping up to date records of volunteer information, skills and clearances, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills and abilities, coordinating volunteer events and activities to increase engagement and contributing to a welcoming, friendly and professional culture.

This position offers a 25 hour p/week, part-time role in a flexible, family friendly organisation.
