The Role:  Volunteer Coordinator   The Positive Ageing team at the City of Playford supports compassion, dignity and living life to the fullest.

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will be the heart of our volunteering program, connecting passionate people with meaningful opportunities.
You will manage and support our volunteers, ensuring they have a rewarding experience and celebrate them for their amazing contributions to our community.
What you'll be doing Fostering our vibrant volunteer community by recruiting, onboarding, and engaging passionate people to contribute to our community.
Matching our volunteers with work that is meaningful for them and aligns with their skills and interests.
Supporting the development and implementation of strategies that keep our volunteers motivated, connected, and engaged.
Providing guidance, training, and resources to support our volunteers and empowering them to succeed in their roles.
Maintaining accurate volunteer records and collecting data to inform decision making and work planning.
What you'll bring to our team Previous experience in a similar role will help you with getting some runs on the board quickly.
A knack for building relationships effortlessly to support you with attracting a diverse range of volunteers who are eager to make a difference.
Attention to detail and organisation skills to ensure that our volunteering program runs smoothly.
A creative approach, ability to problem solve and openness for doing things differently.
A flexible nature to assist you with navigating challenges and embracing change.
