HammondCare provides care primarily through hospitals, residential care homes and home-based care as well as services for dementia support, community palliative care, rehabilitation, positive aging and older persons' mental health.
HammondCare has a strong volunteer programme with over 750 dedicatedvolunteers.
They support residents and our team by helping with various activities—cooking, nail care, arts and crafts, exercise programs, pastoral care, and day excursions, just to name a few.
They also engage in simple pleasures, such as chatting over a cup of tea or taking a walk, connecting through shared interests and life experiences.
About the role We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
The role of Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for developing and leading a volunteer service whose key focus is the people we care for.
This role is based at our residential site at Horsley and is a permanent part-time role 3 days per week (flexible with days, one day must be a Wednesday) or shorter hours spread across 4 days.
