Wellways Victoria is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordination Support Officer to join our team and help shape the future of mental health care and wellbeing services in Victoria.
The Volunteer Coordination Support Officer will play a key role in supporting our team of volunteers and ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds—especially those in hard-to-reach or underserved communities—have access to the mental health support they need. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a program that prioritizes lived experience and peer support, empowering individuals on their journey to recovery and wellbeing.
As a Volunteer Coordination Support Officer, you will:
Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and Program Coordinator to recruit, onboard, and support volunteersProvide ongoing support to volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped to engage with the community and support families and carersAssist with maintaining volunteer records and ensuring compliance with organizational requirementsEngage with diverse community groups to ensure equitable access to mental health services and support networksIf you are interested in this opportunity, please express your interest to Kate Fox at .
