We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package clients and 5 days per week for CHSP clients.Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same team of Support Workers which means that you know the people who are coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support workers providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the person's dignity and well-being. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.Job DescriptionRole:Are you looking to contribute your administrative skills to a cause that makes a difference in the community? ECHO Community Services is seeking a dedicated and organized Volunteer Admin Assistant to support our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your existing experience or gain experience and contribute to impactful community initiatives in a flexible, part-time role.Key Responsibilities:Manage phone communications and client bookings.Update spreadsheets and assist with data collection and reporting.Document progress notes and manage event calendars.Liaise with the Volunteer Coordinator and other management.Perform various other adhoc administrative tasks across multiple departments.Desired Skills and ExperienceQualifications:A certificate or diploma in administration, business, or a related field is desirable but not essential.Knowledge, skills and experience:Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Good organizational and communication skills, including telephone skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Previous office experience.Experience with PowerPoint or Canva.What We Offer:Hours: our office hours are from 8AM to 4PM, but for this unpaid volunteer role, we are flexible and can adapt to your availability.
