About usNLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils.We are looking for Water Polo coaches in Sydney to join our team, with roles based in Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West & North Shore.All of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. Coaching experience isn't necessary (although it is preferred) but a good knowledge and playing experience of the sport is required.ScheduleTo coach before or after school with Saturday morning games from September - December.Qualifications & ExperienceSports coaching / playing experiencePAID Working with Children (WWC) CheckChild Protection Training (Preferred)First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSports CoachingAttend and conduct all training sessionsAttend and facilitate all competition games (As Required)Being Reliable and OrganisedAdditional Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of standard coaching practicesIndependently handle multiple sporting prioritiesInterpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships & communicate clearly & effectively with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents / guardiansAbility to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual studentsAbility to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
