We are seeking a passionate and skilled Volleyball Coach to lead our teams to success, promote a positive sports environment, and nurture the athletic and personal growth of our students.

Responsibilities:
Designing and conducting practice sessions to improve players' technical skills, such as serving, spiking, blocking, setting, and passing. They also focus on physical conditioning to enhance players' strength, agility, and endurance.
Developing game strategies based on the team's strengths and weaknesses and the opponent's tendencies. They prepare players for various game scenarios and make in-game tactical adjustments.
Motivating students, fostering a positive team environment, and builds strong team cohesion.
During matches, the coach manages player rotations, timeouts, and substitutions, and provides real-time feedback and adjustments to enhance performance.
Analysing performance metrics and identifies areas for improvement.
Serving as a mentor and role model, instilling discipline, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic in players.
Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling practices, coordinating travel, managing equipment, and communicating with parents or school officials.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of the sport and rules of the game.
Passion and enthusiasm to coach and mentor in a school sports environment.
Ability to inspire or motivate young athletes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment
First Aid accreditation, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
Sport Coaching or Coordinating Experience
A National Criminal Records Check with Working with Children Card application would be essential as part of the appointment process
Available for weekday training and SACCSS Premier League games on either Thursdays (in semester one) or Wednesdays (in semester two).
Available for SACCSS Senior Sport fixtures that will be advised to the successful applicant once details have been finalised.
Available before school time slots (7.00 am to 8.30 am) and post-school (3.10 pm to 4.30 pm)
Training times are subject to change with the Kolbe Catholic College calendar.
