The team is passionate about student impact and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.Your RoleAs the Vocational Trainer, you will: Plan and implement a training and assessment plan related to building students' skill sets required to complete competencies in Certificate I, II and/or III.Assist the Principal, utilising stakeholder relationship building in the delivery of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) programme for the delivery of authentic workplace learning opportunities that offer career pathways for students.Work in collaboration with the Head of Department (VET) to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with stakeholders of the programme, including students, community, and industry partners.Key Responsibilities IncludePlan and deliver relevant and engaging learning experiences in AHC21216 Certificate II in Rural Operations.Lead the planning and execution of training experiences, providing students with relevant industry experience.Manage reporting, attendance, behaviour, assessments, and track competency and work placement progress.Deliver training in accordance with Standards for Registered Training Organisations and the Australian Qualification Framework.Liaise with schools, VET institutions, industry, and the public regarding job opportunities for students.Oversee equipment maintenance and consumable stock control, coordinating with the Head of Department (VET).Maintain thorough and accurate training documentation, ensuring confidentiality.Monitor student progress, initiate intervention strategies, and ensure program completion.Our Ideal Candidate Would PossessQualifications and experience in agriculture.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.Experience in vocational education and training delivery.Understanding of the VET Quality Framework and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop and maintain industry relationships.Commitment to student development.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
