Safety First Focusing on our customer Taking responsibility Showing initiative Working together The Role  We have an exciting permanent full-time  Vocational Placement Officer position available to join our Faculty, Nursing and Community Services team. There is flexibility to be based at any one of TAFE Queensland's Brisbane Campuses however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
As a Vocational Placement Officer, you will liaise with the wider health care community including Queensland hospitals, external private health care facilities and ANMAC (Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council) to formalise partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the procurement of long term security of vocational placements, and administer a framework of support for health and aged care students and employers.
The position also liaises and consults with Faculty Directors, Team Managers, academic staff, external health care key stakeholders and ANMAC to design, develop and manage the delivery of vocational placements within the Diploma of Nursing (pre-Enrolment/Division 2) to meet student's educational needs and ensure quality outcomes.
This position reports to the Operations Manager (Vocational Placement).
The salary range for a Vocational Placement Officer is $116,723.47- $125,531.21 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent, OR current registration with APHRA. Minimum 5 years' experience and currency within clinical practice. Additionally, you must have completed one  of the following training and assessment credentials:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or  TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; plus:TAELLN411 or its successor or TAELLN401A; and TAEASS502 or its successor or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B; or A credential issued by a higher education provider which would enable the individual to satisfy the academic requirements for registration as a secondary school teacher and one (1) of the following credentials:TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor, or  TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set; or  A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland). Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
