Overview of the role
Greystone College seeks an enthusiastic National VET Administrator to join our friendly, supportive team at our Sydney CBD campus, in a varied and challenging role.
This position is for an immediate opening.
Job Duties
The National VET Administration team are responsible for student services and administrative duties as follows:
Working as part of a team on all national VET administrative tasks
Responding to student written enquiries through management of VET student support email
Create class allocations and placements for academic sessions for students and trainers
Management of the student placement list, student follow up list, VET student records (VSR), Odyssey (CRM), Moodle (LMS), and Teams
Coordination of student communications and messaging
Yearly AVETMISS data reporting and following up on key student enrolment documentation
Preparation and participation in student intakes
Issuing nationally recognised qualifications
Running reports and updating CRM database
Collaborating with the wider ILSC community
Supporting any problem faced by the admin team
Providing cover and support for reception
Completing other tasks and project work as required by the VET Administration Manager and National Director of Training
Key Selection Criteria:
Outstanding organisational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent technical skills (database, LMS, excel, email etc)
A passion for education and sensitivity to the cultural and language issues facing our overseas students
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
Work Hours:
38 hours per week, flexible between 9am and 8pm weekdays.
The role will be split between our CBD office and a WFH (Work from home) arrangement, with 4 days onsite and 1 day from home.
