We are seeking highly skilled engineers to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based data and application development solutions for our clients as we grow out our data engineering teams.
Our focus is on delivering:
Expertise in the development and implementation of customer 360 cloud data platforms.
Migration of data workloads onto different cloud data warehouses.
The development of analytics/BI based insights platforms.
Development of cloud-based applications.
Ongoing operational support.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and system needs and requirements to design scalable and efficient data models on Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift.
Testing, debugging, diagnosing, correcting and implementing data pipelines and workflows, integrating various data sources onto Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift.
Building applications using appropriate frameworks and programming languages and ensuring a high quality of development that is in line with accepted industry standards and work according to the documented requirements and specs.
Analyze and identify any weak points in existing systems and then code and redevelop in line with modern best practices utilizing the latest frameworks.
Deliver technical documentation for your work at all development levels, from code-based documentation all the way to system requirements specifications.
Optimize and tune cloud databases for performance and efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Define and gather requirements as you deliver strategies to cover budget, schedule, technical, and operational feasibility for the tools you select and implement.
Communicate your advice and findings to senior stakeholders and team leads.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data requirements and enable efficient data exploration and analysis.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and features of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift platforms and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation for all the applications hosted on its cloud platform.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience as a Software or Data Engineer, with specific expertise in working with cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift architecture, data modeling, and SQL.
Proficient in designing and implementing ETL processes.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift databases.
Familiarity with cloud computing services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
