Key leadership role About the Role
As a Senior Grower Relationship Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of Grower Relationship Managers (GRMs) across South Australia and Western Victoria, ensuring that Viterra's storage, handling, and grain marketing services are effectively delivered to growers.
This role is pivotal in connecting growers with Viterra's operational, marketing, and commercial services, and in shaping the future of grain accumulation and storage strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and support a team of Grower Relationship Managers (GRMs) to strengthen relationships with growers and maximize business opportunities across multiple regions.
Business Development & Relationship Management: Develop and implement strategies to promote Viterra's services to growers, increase grain intake, and foster long-term partnerships.
Salesforce CRM Utilization: Ensure effective use of Salesforce CRM for data collection and analysis, ensuring the team captures and reports critical grower relationship data.
Feedback & Engagement: Co-ordinate regular grower feedback, providing the operations and marketing teams with valuable insights to enhance service offerings.
Operational Collaboration: Work closely with operations managers to align grower needs with operational and trading requirements, helping to deliver seamless service and improve efficiency.
Grower Interaction: Oversee planned meetings, site visits, and field day attendance to ensure Viterra is actively engaging with growers and promoting grain marketing options.
Market Expansion: Develop strategies to increase grower awareness of post-harvest options and coordinate targeted engagement to attract grain to our network.
Key Skills & Experience
Extensive knowledge of the grain industry, including grain storage and handling supply chains.
Proven experience in grain marketing or operational roles with a strong understanding of agricultural logistics and grower needs.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing small teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, especially Excel, to analyse trends and report on key metrics.
Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) for tracking and reporting grower interactions.
Experience in outbound sales and managing grower engagement via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
