About the role
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team located at our Cummins site which is based in the beautiful Eyre Peninsula. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance at the site, prioritising operational requirements as well as planning and coordinating the electrical and mechanical servicing, maintenance installations and updates to fixed and mobile plant equipment. This role is suited to someone with experience, skills or qualifications in managing a team, and a trade qualification in electro-technology, mechanical fitting, diesel, A-class electrician or similar.
Duties
Participate in developing, recommending and instigating sustainable maintenance plans and programmes to ensure projects are completed in time with operational requirements Manage the maintenance of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, fixed and mobile plant and equipment Perform Root Cause Analysis Reports and initiate continuous improvement plans Ensure the accurate and timely upkeep of all maintenance records within the company systems Ensure that all export terminals are maintained and operated in accordance with current Environmental Legislation and Acts Motivate, coordinate and train employees to facilitate safe, competent and initiative driven outcomes About you
Qualifications and/or demonstrated skills and experience in managing a team A trade qualification in electro-technology, mechanical fitting, diesel or similar field Previous experience with the grain industry or a bulk handling industry background (desirable) Ability to work at heights and within confined and restricted spaces Competent in people management and performance review processes Driver's licence Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role Join an established world-leading global agriculture company which has been operating in South Australia for more than 70 years, and benefit from:
