About the role We are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter/Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a well-established role at our Tailem Bend group of sites. You will have the opportunity to use your mechanical skills to ensure fixed and mobile plant and equipment across the region is maintained to the highest standard, while focusing on safety. Maximising uptime is critical to ensuring we can deliver an efficient and reliable service to our customers.
This role will also provide you with day-to-day variety and problem solving, while also incorporating long term planning projects as part of our preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
Duties Work with the maintenance team to identify and implement plant improvements and future capital projects.Execute the preventative maintenance program in line with site operations.Complete mechanical upgrades and improvements on fixed and mobile plant.Fault finding and repairs for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and pneumatic systems.Take part in the maintenance on call roster.About you Trade Certificate – mechanical, fitting and fabrication all consideredBearing technology and lubrication techniquesCompetent in interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic diagramsKnowledge and experience with installation, commissioning and fault finding of diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic installations is highly desiredAbility to work at heights and within confined and restricted spacesPrevious experience with power transmission maintenance and fault findingCurrent drivers' licence is essentialJoin an established world-leading global agriculture company which has been operating in South Australia for more than 70 years, and benefit from:
