Job Summary The Key Leader role is an essential part of the store leadership team, impacting salesfloor team members and guest (i.e., customer) experience every day.
Key Leaders are responsible for leading by example, providing support to Educators, facilitating an outstanding guest experience in the store, and overseeing all operations of the retail floor.
They leverage key performance indicators and metrics to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to day-to-day business adjustments and challenges.
Core Responsibilities of the Job Leadership and People Management Support ongoing learning and development of team members by providing direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and career path guidance.Provide team members recognition, gap assessment, and overall performance documentation to support and reinforce career and personal growth.Develop, maintain, and disseminate product and general company knowledge through appropriate communication channels.Guest (i.e., Customer) Experience Support team members in ensuring a great guest experience that values guests' time, including assessing guest needs and providing technical product education.Interact with and assess guests' unique needs to provide customized purchase and return solutions.Resolve guest feedback and address concerns to ensure satisfaction.Inform guests of local community programs and plan local initiatives.Working with Others Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment.Establish supportive relationships with all team members.Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal guest experience and support store operations.Operations Provide salesfloor leadership, including planning coverage and maintaining operational efficiency.Review business data and metrics to evaluate progress toward goals.Open and close the store according to checklists.Manage product presentation tasks according to company standards.Ensure team uses in-store technology to support operations and guest experiences.Understand and adhere to safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.What We Look For Inclusion & Diversity: Supports an inclusive environment that values differences.Integrity/Honesty: Behaves in an honest and ethical manner.Guest Experience: Enjoys connecting with and helping guests.Collaboration and Teamwork: Works productively with others to achieve goals.Leadership: Motivates, empowers, and develops others.Candid Communication: Shares concerns openly and constructively.Decision Making: Uses logic to evaluate alternatives and make effective decisions.Job Requirements Legally eligible to work in the jurisdiction of the store.Availability Willing to work a flexible schedule.Experience Job Assets: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred; 1 year of retail/sales leadership experience.Applicants successful in progressing to interview will be contacted.
