Responsibilities
Direct teaching of primary students across various subjects Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum programs Engage in reflective practice to enhance teaching effectiveness Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues on school-wide initiatives
Skills Required
Registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching Qualified to teach primary education Knowledge of relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy integration Experience in planning and implementing effective teaching strategies Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to inform practice Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ongoing professional learning and values-based education Personal attributes: dedication, collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement
