Visitor Services OfficerAre you passionate about working with visitors and sharing your knowledge of the region? We're looking for a dedicated individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Visitor Information Centre.
Key responsibilities include: Providing excellent customer service to visitors.Overseeing and recruiting a team of volunteers.Handling the centre's daily operations.Coordinating volunteer rosters and assisting visitors with tour information and booking.To be successful in this role you will need:QualificationsCurrent Victorian driver licence.Employee working with children check.Certificate in tourism or a relevant field or on-the-job training/experience in a similar position such as customer service or volunteer management.ExperienceRelevant retail experience.Knowledge of the Moyne tourism industry and/or the broader Great Ocean Road region is an advantage.Ability to use a range of computer systems.Key selection criteria 1Demonstrated experience in managing customer expectations and identifying customer needs.
Key selection criteria 2Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
Key selection criteria 3Experience coordinating volunteers, including conducting recruitment and providing training.
