Visiting Music Teacher - Saxophone

Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools.
With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
We are seeking applications from dynamic and experienced Visiting Music Tutors specialising in alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone to deliver private and small group lessons starting in Term 4 of 2024.
This position is on a casual basis and is based at our St Kilda Road Campus.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
While previous experience in teaching the A.M.E.B and VCE syllabi is preferred, it is not essential.
There is also an opportunity to contribute to our ensemble program by offering tutorials and participating in ensemble rehearsals.
While expertise in teaching various woodwind instruments is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
