The Position We are currently on the lookout for a Part Time - 0.6FTE / Sessional Staff Specialist or VMO Psychiatrist for a permanent vacancy in Orange, New South Wales. The position is a mix of inpatient and community. You'll work with an experienced and committed multidisciplinary team who know the services well. You'll supervise care as a clinical leader and be part of the strong relationships we have with community-oriented service providers. There is good support with the diverse psychiatry group working in Orange.
Health Service The position sits within the Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services in Orange, a regional hub in the Western NSW Local Health District. Services are a critical part of the healthcare delivered in the local communities. This health service is at the forefront in the delivery of services to rural and remote populations across a catchment area of 400,000 square kms. Other regional centres include Dubbo and Bathurst, which also function as clinical hubs to provide services both locally and to the many rural and remote towns.

Essential Criteria Qualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Current registration with/or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
