Position Summary: The Admissions Visit Experience Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, implementing, and evaluating a dynamic campus visit experience to support the College's recruitment efforts. The successful candidate will also supervise the Stirlings Student Ambassadors, Admissions Office Student Workers and will have extensive contact with the public, faculty, current students, and a wide range of campus offices.Duties/Responsibilities:Oversee and organize all facets of the daily visit program.Plan special events including Preview PC, Grad School Open Houses, Accepted Students Day, Griffith/SEC Interview Competitions, Accepted Student Receptions, off-campus yield events, counselor visit programs, etc.Respond to visit inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the pre-visit process.Communicate and coordinate with internal and external constituents to arrange their participation in visit programs.Work closely with Executive Director and Marketing team to develop, design, and purchase invitations, signage, giveaway items, etc.Train, mentor, and lead the Student Ambassador Program.Directly supervise Student Ambassador Coordinators, Admissions Student Workers, Summer Workers, and paid interns who assist with visit programs.Serve as a key member of the Admissions team to help foster dialogue and communication among the recruitment, operations, and event teams.Provide supervisory support to admissions staff, ambassadors, catering, facilities, and vendors during events.Develop surveys and collect visit data to measure the impact of the visit program on the recruitment process.Research industry trends, investigate the competition, analyze visit data, and maintain vendor relationships to stay current with on-campus visit strategies.Share expertise with the College's event team and contribute where needed.Serve as a mentor to admissions counselors and participate in staff training and team-building activities.Other duties and projects assigned by the Executive Director of Admissions.Required Qualifications:Valid driver's licenseExperience planning events and managing a budget in a fast-moving hospitality, marketing, or sales operation is preferredExperience with higher education events is preferredPrevious supervisory experience is preferredExperience with the use of technologies in business operations, marketing, and communicationsAbility to work with a diverse population of students and parentsExceptional skills in communication, organization, and interpersonal relationsPreferred Qualifications:Valid driver's licenseExperience planning events and managing a budget in a fast-moving hospitality, marketing, or sales operation is preferredExperience with higher education events is preferredPrevious supervisory experience is preferredExperience with the use of technologies in business operations, marketing, and communicationsAbility to work with a diverse population of students and parentsExceptional skills in communication, organization, and interpersonal relationsPosting Number: S058PNumber of Vacancies: 1Job Open Date: 08/28/2024Job Close Date: Open Until FilledSpecial Instructions Summary:Supplemental QuestionsRequired fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).Required Documents:ResumeCover LetterOptional Documents:503 South Broad Street, Clinton, South Carolina, 29325#J-18808-Ljbffr
