Accounting Assistant for Virtual Coworker (Home Based Full Time) Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Accountant and Operations team. This role is integral to ensuring smooth financial operations and offers opportunities to learn and grow within the accounting field.
Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Accurately record and maintain financial transactions in our systems. Accounts Receivable: Process and monitor incoming payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and maintain accurate client records. This includes batch invoice preparation, review, and processing, as well as generating, updating, and processing initial invoices. Accounts Payable: Verify, process, and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely payment of bills. Accounts Reconciliation: Support regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy. Payroll Support: Help with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to staff. Administrative Support: Perform other related administrative and accounting tasks as required, including time logs review, validations, and updates on staff bonuses and leaves monitoring. Skill Set: Must be residing near Metro Manila or nearby provinces accessible by land. At least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience. At least 1 year of experience with Xero. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing deadlines effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
