Qantas Airways is seeking a highly motivated and organized Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic team in Perth. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to support various operational functions of our airline through effective planning, analysis, and administrative assistance. ### **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Administrative Support:**
- Provide general administrative assistance to management and team members, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Draft, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.

2. **Communication Management:**
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring timely and informative responses.
- Manage email correspondence, prioritizing messages, and ensuring follow-up on important communications.

3. **Data Management:**
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and databases to ensure easy access to information.
- Conduct research and analysis as needed, summarizing findings in clear and concise formats.

4. **Project Coordination:**
- Assist in the planning and execution of special projects, tracking progress and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective workflows for various operational processes.

5. **Reporting:**
- Prepare periodic reports for management, including tracking KPIs and other performance metrics.
- Utilise data analysis skills to provide insights and recommendations for improvements in team processes and efficiency.

6. **Customer Service:**
- Support customer service initiatives by managing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure a positive customer experience through effective communication and responsiveness.

### **Requirements:**

- **Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.

- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and CRM software is a plus.

- **Personality Traits:**
- Must be reliable and confident in the ability to tackle tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail in all work.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Strong planning and analytical skills, with the ability to foresee potential challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and responsiveness to inquiries.
