We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Retirement Village Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 35 unit pet-friendly retirement village.
About the role: Oversee all operational aspects of the retirement village, including maintenance, safety compliance, and service deliveryBuild strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a sense of communityManage the village budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are achievedEnsure the village complies with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and welcoming environmentIn consultation with the residents, plan and execute social and recreational activities that enhance their quality of lifeAbout You: Proven experience in a management role, preferably within aged care, hospitality, or property managementExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with the senior and veteran communityFinancial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectivelyKnowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standardsAbility to handle complex situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretionOccasional travel as required to Villages within the region and to our office in St Leonards for meetings/trainingQualifications: Demonstrated experience in a similar roleRelevant tertiary qualifications in business management, aged care, or a related field an advantageFirst Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)RSL LifeCare offers a range of benefits: A supportive and inclusive workplace cultureNot-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per yearStaff discounts across 700 select retail stores through Maxxia RewardsLeave Loading - 17.5% pay top up on paid leaveProfessional development and training opportunitiesIt is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
