Job Details About the role: We are currently recruiting for Disability Support Workers to provide ongoing support to our participants. Our participants require support for a varying range of shifts. Support requirements may include personal care, transportation, community access, activities of daily living, and independent living skills.
About you: As a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated experienced Disability Support Worker, you will have a passion to make a difference in the lives of the people you support by providing quality individual supports. You will have experience building strong rapport and implementing support plans, including behaviour support plans.
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following: Vietnamese Speaking Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern Experience supporting participants to meet their personal goals, with daily living and independent living skills Understanding of mental health support requirements Experience writing accurate and detailed case notes First Aid Certificate Drivers Licence NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Working with Children Check Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Legal working rights in Australia As the successful candidate for the Disability Support Worker role at Myxa Care, you will have the opportunity to work for an organisation that prides itself on providing the most suitable supports for our participants and an inclusive and supportive workplace that values its employees.
