As part of an infrastructure project, Bouygues Travaux Publics offers a V.I.E.
position located in Adelaide, Australia.
The mission consists of participating in the design studies of underground structures for the project.
You will be supported in this mission by a manager located in Australia and by the engineering office located at the company's headquarters in France.
These studies require a strong aptitude for structural calculation and an interest in modeling.
Proficiency in English is also important for this mission.
You will apply your knowledge of geotechnics, mechanics, and reinforced concrete.
You will be involved in numerical modeling and analytical approaches to understand the phenomena at play.
You will be in direct contact with the construction site and other engineering teams to conduct these studies and obtain approval.
Before your departure to Australia, contact will be made and a one-month training period at the company's engineering office in Guyancourt will be necessary to successfully carry out this mission.
You are motivated by the design of complex underground structures and have a taste for their numerical modeling.
You have a Civil Engineering background or a Generalist Engineer degree with an option in Civil Engineering or Geotechnics.
You have knowledge of certain calculation software such as soil-structure interaction (PLAXIS) and structural analysis and are motivated to learn such software.
You know how to work in a team and communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
You are meticulous, curious, and dynamic.
You are fully operational in English and, as such, are capable of expressing yourself and writing in this language.
