Video Project Coordinator

The position is located in the Bureau of Global Public Affairs (GPA/DC/VID). The Office of Video creates tailored video content for the GPA-managed Department social media platforms designed to inform global audiences about U.S. foreign policy. As a technical expert for the Office of Video, s/he plans, coordinates, and oversees the Bureau's digital video productions, including liaising with stakeholders across the Department and inter-agency on policy messaging and distribution strategies.

Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience in video production, modern visual communication strategies, and digital distribution platforms to produce high-quality video and motion graphic productions.

Experience applying qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the analysis of established programs, video production methods, and/or project management workflows.

Experience planning, coordinating, and overseeing digital video projects for a video production team.
