The Role As an experienced General Manager, you will lead and oversee the overall management and strategic direction of the organisation, working closely with a skilled, supportive management team and a hands-on Director.
You will lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Your expertise in hospitality management will be key in driving our business forward and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive performance across a high-paced, multi-faceted venue.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with the CFO and Director to position the business for long term success Implement opportunities to drive revenue and control expenses through effective strategies Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of services to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction Drive the organisation's financial success through sound fiscal management and risk mitigation Set clear performance goals for direct reports and conducts regular evaluations to ensure accountability Balance staffing levels and work schedules to achieve financial and service quality targets Inspire, lead, and mentor a talented team of approximately 200 staff About You Extensive experience in General Management, in a similar position within a multi-disciplinary organisation. Hospitality Industry is advantageous In depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends and standards Hands on attitude and proven leadership skills to nurture, develop and bring out the best in your team Passionate about business improvement, developing strategies and systems implementation Sound understanding of budgeting, financial management, and business operations Engaging personality, ensuring positive relationships are established and maintained at all levels of the organisation as well as external stakeholders Organised, efficient and process and outcomes driven Proven capability to manage performance and employee relations issues effectively Reward Attractive remuneration package commensurate to your experience and capability.
