The Role As a Vice President / Senior Associate within Jarden's General Industrials and TMT team, you'll support the Corporate Finance team in the delivery of high quality advice and transaction outcomes for our clients.
You will be expected to collaborate with other members of the Corporate Finance team and key client stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes for both our clients and Jarden as a firm.
Responsibilities: Assistance on a range of M&A and capital markets transactions, and strategic and valuation advisory assignments. Overseeing analysts and associates on the development of financial models to inform valuation and transaction-related advice. Supervise analysts and associates in performing a range of valuation methods: comparable companies, precedent transactions, DCF and LBO analysis. Prepare and review materials relevant to advisory and transaction assignments (e.g., Information Memoranda, Investor Presentations, Board Reports). Conduct independent research on industries and companies as relevant. Develop relationships with clients through involvement in transactions and other assignments. Maintain appropriate documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable rules and regulations. Stay informed about market trends and contribute insights to support strategic and valuation advisory assignments. About You You will be a competent, confident individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You will be interacting with colleagues and clients, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage multiple work assignments, with frequent priority changes.
In addition, you have:
Experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a relevant business background. Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent education, training and work-related experience. Proven analytical and quantitative skills (strong financial modelling skills preferred). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
