About this roleGlobal Product Solutions ("GPS") was formed in 2024 with a mission to innovate, curate and commercialise the full breadth of our investment platform for what our clients need, wherever they are. The team is responsible for driving commercial investment priorities across the platform, innovating the next wave of products and solutions, accelerating i Shares adoption, sharpening our commercial focus on active products and helping clients build better portfolios via actionable market and portfolio insights.The GPS ETF Product Specialist will be responsible for the delivery and management of i Shares, Black Rock's Australian listed ETF range, including launching new products, product changes and product governance. The product specialist will help drive the product and commercial strategy collaborating with senior stakeholders across the APAC business.Major Responsibilities:Lead a center of excellence for ETFs products including regulation, the operational ecosystem and investment exposure/structure of the ETF;Lead the implementation of product changes and new launches including managing the process with external (e.g. custody, administrators, and exchange) and internal senior stakeholders;Lead the management and oversight of the external ETF registry provider;As part of the product commercialisation, help with the key product messaging, collateral and product access;Communicate and update all product changes to the relevant management committees and the Australian Blackrock Board;Work with legal and compliance to understand and implement regulation changes;Lead the innovation around product structure, investment solutions and the client experience as it related to ETFs;Ad-hoc strategic business projects.Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required:A strong knowledge of ETFs and a complementary understanding of other investment vehicles;A strong understanding of the Australian ETF market, the regulations and ecosystem;Minimum 4 - 5 years of relevant financial services experience;Excellent communication skills and experience with senior stakeholder management across distinct functions and locations;A proven ability to simplify complex investment ideas to drive a solution;Demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure and be comfortable taking primary responsibility for deliverables;BA/BS in Finance, Economics or related field;Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) skills required; Bloomberg, Morningstar familiarity/skills a plus;Strong project management experience, excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills, with attention to detail;A good understanding of the tax regime as it related to Australian Managed Investment Schemes.Our benefitsTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.Our hybrid work modelBlack Rock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
