We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Trust, Client Services team.
This role is in Sydney, Australia - Hybrid.
The Client Services Manager has primary responsibility for the management of a portfolio of Corporate Trust clients/accounts and serves as the day-to-day contact for the assigned clients/accounts.
As the primary account representative, the CSM is responsible for servicing the overall client relationships across the client base.
A key focus of the role will be onboarding new deals and managing the new debt issuance process and the calls of deals maturing and terminating.
The role involves monitoring contractual obligations for these accounts and administering debt issuance, including various complex financing structures and services related to assigned corporate trust products.
The CSM will manage the relationships of assigned products, including syndicated loans, securitisation, and other fixed income products with active participation on products and services delivered.
This role is responsible for addressing client issues proactively, efficiently, and to the satisfaction of the client(s).
The CSM will work in close communication and collaboration with the Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager, Transaction Management Group, as well as Business and Product Management to ensure the delivery of service excellence to our clients.
Transaction Administration and ControlThoroughly review new transaction documents related to the most complex Corporate Trust accounts, clients, and/or relationships to ensure that transactions can be supported within the current operating model.
Understand the administration requirements.Perform and/or oversee all account administration activities.Manage and oversee client inquiries, resolve situations independently and smoothly as they occur, and escalate promptly where appropriate.Participate in compliance reviews as required.Collaboration/Stakeholder Engagement/Oversight/InfluenceWork with Global Service Delivery and other groups within Global Client Solutions and related parties to monitor/control tickler compliance of assigned accounts.Act as a senior escalation point for the deal-related client/counterparty contacts.Deal-level Relationship ManagementComplete accountability for all service level aspects of the assigned client relationships for the deals that are administered.Ensure that clients receive excellent service.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other industry participants as applicable for assigned deal portfolio - e.g.
law firms, institutional investors, investment bankers, custodians, lenders, borrowers, etc.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Trust in the financial services industry.
Strong client servicing and communication skills, ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and have a high level of attention to detail.Product expertise in syndicated loans, securitisation, and fixed income products.Understanding of the payments landscape for both domestic and international payments and Austraclear.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
