VIC - Project Manager (Telecommunications)As a Project Manager (Telecommunications) at Lightning Broadband, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality telecommunications projects.
This full-time position will see you managing the end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and lead meetings among project stakeholdersLiaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activitiesHandle administrative tasks for Project Director to keep the project running smoothlyEnsure projects are delivered according to defined scope and budgetIdentify, assess project risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide solutions where applicableCoordinate and negotiate quotations for projectsEnsure project information data is current (i.e., project status and schedule updates) and document project activities into project management technology toolsManage internal and external project stakeholders (e.g., builders, electrical contractors, external contractors, service consultants, developers, suppliers, etc.
)Provide clear communication of project status and performance to stakeholders, providing regular updates and escalating concerns as requiredEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practicesDrive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and efficienciesProvide support to other team members as mutually agreed and as requiredConduct site inspections and documentationWhat we're looking for Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecommunications projects from initiation to completionExcellent project management skills/project planning expertise, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational and leadership skills with telecommunications knowledgeProficient in the use of project management tools and methodologiesThorough understanding of telecommunications industry standards, regulations, and best practicesDemonstrated working knowledge & experience in using AUTOCADAbility to work with minimal supervisionMinimum of 3 years Project Management experienceTargets & KPI's Include On-time and on-budget delivery of projectsProcess improvementsRecognizing process deficiencies and implementing effective solutionsQualifications Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM)Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related fieldValid driver's license and at least one year of driving experienceWhat we offer At Lightning Broadband, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
