About Us Bay Building Services is a market leader when it comes to insurance building in Australia. Operating nationally, for 40 years we have specialised in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact, and malicious damage.
Position Overview Reporting to the Manager | Makesafe Services | Major Loss & Specialty, the Project Coordinator | Makesafe Services is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all Building Makesafe projects received for all states, Australia wide from end to end of the project. The Project Coordinator | Makesafe Services is accountable for the operational performance of the assigned projects and/or tasks, including registration of projects, triage of calls, general project administration including updating portals, engaging of sub-contractor, direct trades and suppliers, collating of supporting documents, managing ongoing hire items, reporting and preparation of file for invoicing and debtors.
Responsibilities include: Register each new Makesafe on the project system where B2B doesn't apply.Triage call with insured to obtain relevant information on works required on site.Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the scope required for each job.Engage, co-ordinate and manage trades on behalf of the company.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to involved stakeholders.Preparation and sending purchase orders.Work closely with Manager | Makesafe Services | Major Loss & Specialty and the Restoration team.Create and update job programs/schedules.Ensure completion of all documentation pertaining to the job.Key capabilities include: Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.Willingness to learn and be part of an agile and warm team environment.Strong administrative skills, with written and verbal communication being key.High attention to detail.Insurance and/or construction experience is desirable.Proven project coordination experience preferably in emergency response building works.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with both internal and external customers building long term relationships.Ability to develop business through quality service delivery.Benefits: Flexible hybrid WFH options after probation.Great discounts at JB HI-FI.Regular Trade Discounts.BUPA Health Insurance Discounts.Free Onsite Parking.Access to 24/7 Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
