Vfx Producer

The VFX Producer works closely with the VFX Supervisors and production teams in managing all aspects of a project. This involves planning and scheduling of facility resources, managing the visual effects team, liaising with the client, and maintaining strong relationships with the client and crew. Reporting to the Senior VFX Producer in Melbourne, Luma is looking to hire an energetic, organised and experienced Producer to join our growing team.Please note that candidates should be located within Australia for consideration.You CanPlan and schedule facility resources with the VFX Supervisor and Digital Production ManagerEnsure the progression of work is to the client's satisfactionCommunicate with clients, editorial, artists and in-house managementCreate scheduling targets and supervise the daily assignment to individual artistsWork closely with the bidding team to establish scope of work and change ordersMaintain adherence to set Production contract standardsAct decisively to quickly provide clarity and direction from a mass of project dataSet and own client communication standards, adding value to the relationship through collaboration, providing assurance on all aspects of the project as requiredTake action towards profit generation, and the promotion of Luma as a vendor and employerLead by example. Manage and mentor the visual effects and Production team, cultivating an environment of professionalism and accountability.You HaveA minimum of 3 years VFX Producer experience across live action feature films.A thorough knowledge of MS Office; particularly Excel (an understanding of Project is also beneficial)Proven strategic and project management experience across all areas of visual effectsA thorough understanding of all aspects of the VFX workflowBeen capable of motivating and leading a large team with enthusiasm and clarityHigh level problem solving skillsThe ability to adapt to changeExtremely detail oriented, calm and well organisedClear and methodical planning and communication with artists, supervisors and clientsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate with a high degree of professionalism and control within a pressurized, time-sensitive working environmentKnowledge of Ftrack or Shotgun preferredCome as you are.
