Our values of Respect, Trust, Agility and Humility guide everything we do, ensuring tailored solutions and long-term partnerships with our valued clients.The Assurance Division's role is to provide comprehensive and reliable Vetting, Psychological, and Protective Security services that meet and exceed its clients' needs.The RoleThe Team Leader Vetting Services Branch will manage a team of Vetting Analysts delivering services to Omni's clients.Key Accountabilities Lead, develop, performance manage and mentor team staff.Manage the team, ensuring it meets annual objectives in line with the Branch Business Plan and professionally delivers Vetting services to Omni clients.Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability.Facilitate clear and effective communication with the team via the conduct of regular team meetings to share information, discuss goals and address concerns.Promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of team members.Effectively and efficiently manage team resources (people and equipment).Undertake Vetting and Quality Assurance activities.Provide timely reporting to the Branch Manager.Identify areas for process optimisation and efficiency improvements within the team and Branch.Collaborate with other Team Leaders to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.Ensure Branch compliance with best practice, Defence Industry Security Program, Protective Security Policy Framework, Defence Security Policy Framework, Australian Privacy Principles, recommended record-keeping requirements, client, and Omni policies.Our Ideal CandidateWe are looking to employ a diverse range of people who are committed, adaptable, collaborative and resilient.

Be an Australian Citizen.Hold Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting) and at least five years' previous vetting (or equivalent knowledge and skills) experience.Hold and maintain a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.In addition, this role will require: Analytical experience (vetting and/or intelligence).Ability to work in or travel regularly to one of our corporate locations.Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills.Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.Applications will not be assessed until the closing date for this role.
