Belconnen Veterinary Centre stands out for its entrepreneurial vision, offering the most complete structure of clinical, surgical and diagnostic imaging services (Ultrasound, X-ray, CT, and endoscopy), led by a dedicated team, with excellent technical training and driven by passion for pets.
Our sister clinic - Gundaroo Veterinary Centre, is a small but highly skilled team of vets and nurses all with a love for animals.
The Opportunity:
As the first point of contact for our clients, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for both our clients and their pets.
Based in Belconnen Veterinary Centre and our sister clinic – Gundaroo Veterinary Centre.
You will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, handling client communications, and providing support to our veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments.
Manage patient records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately maintained.
Process payments, handle transactions, and manage invoicing.
Assist with managing the clinic's appointment schedule and coordinating with veterinary staff.
Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications:

Previous veterinary nursing experience or experience in a veterinary receptionist role is essential.
EzyVet experience (preferred, not essential).
Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
A genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude towards pet owners.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
