Description Veterinary Nurse Position - Mandatory Min 1 Year Experience in Role This position will be for approximately 38-40 hours per week, entailing four weekdays and one in three weekends.
You will be required to work Public Holidays on a rotational basis.
There is opportunity to perform extra hours if desired.

You must possess at least one to two years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse and live reasonably locally.
Driver's license and car is a must.

Some of your responsibilities will include: Reception duties including handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
Booking Appointments and controlling the schedule
General administration duties and associated tasks
Placing IV catheters
Taking bloods
Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
Monitoring patients during and after surgery
Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
Allocating surgeries to theatres and providing time frames to the surgical team
Hospital admission and discharge
Administering medications
Social Media Management
What we are looking for: Possess a minimum 1-2 years previous veterinary nursing experience
Have your current driver's license and vehicle
Live locally.
(No longer than a 40 minute drive away)
Are flexible, friendly, dynamic and positive
Can work a min of approx.
38 hours per week and one in three weekends.

Have the ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
