Company DescriptionGreencross Fairy Meadow is offering a unique opportunity to join their team as a Veterinary Director, with flexibility to work exclusively in our GP clinic or across both GP and emergency, through our ARH (Animal Referral Hospital) emergency hospital.
Set in the beautiful surrounds of Wollongong, we're a recently renovated state-of-the-art facility, boasting 9 spacious consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, CT imaging, DR radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU, 3 surgery rooms, dedicated dental and endoscopy room, Tonovet plus, in-house pathology equipment and in-house orthopaedic equipment for advanced procedures.
ARH Wollongong operates an emergency service every weeknight and all weekend, so our patients always receive the best 24-hour care, meaning after hours is NEVER required.

Our team's wellness is a top priority, and we run an effective schedule to ensure everyone has a proper lunch break, provide exemplary continuing education programs, 5 weeks annual & study leave (pro rata) and mental health first aid courses.

Job DescriptionThis opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 4 years post-graduation experience, who has demonstrated strong clinical leadership and proven management skills, a desire to nurture the development of junior vets and nurses if required, is comfortable consulting, diagnosing and treating companion animals with autonomy.
Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage cases with the collaboration and mentoring both to and from your colleagues and on-hand advice from our Specialist network, as even the most senior of Vets can learn new tricks!

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must hold Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations.
