Veterinary Cardiologist

A privately owned referral centre in inner Melbourne has a current vacancy for a specialist in cardiology.The successful applicant will join a large team of specialists, interns, and dedicated nurses as part of the small animal medicine department. The medical department works cooperatively with 24-hour emergency care and an established specialist surgical service.The ideal candidate will be eligible for registration as a specialist in Australia. However, the employer is also open to hearing from registrars who have completed their residency training. Applicants should enjoy team collaboration and have a high level of commitment to improving patient outcomes and client experiences.Part-time hours will be considered.You will be working in a well-equipped modern hospital with a 54-slice CT scanner, 2 x high-quality ultrasounds, and MRI access when required, clinical pathology, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, EMG, and digital radiography, allowing excellent diagnostic capabilities.The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.The practice is centrally located in Melbourne, Victoria, the world's most liveable city!
