The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Officer to join our team within our manufacturing plant in Bomen.
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate stock management, goods receival, and inventory control practices within Vetafarm's manufacturing warehouse.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and coordinate stock control, stocktakes, goods inwards and quarantine.Demonstrate first-in first-out (FIFO) stock procedures.Develop a thorough understanding and proficiency for receipting and stock control systems.Oversee goods inward, quarantine, and returns, including receival checks and sampling of incoming materials.Complete required paperwork accurately including computer data entry and use of PDA scanners for picking and packing.Perform rolling stocktakes of all raw materials, finished bulk goods and packaging materials.Work autonomously and as part of the warehousing/dispatch team.Collaborate with the Dispatch Coordinator and Systems Manager to improve current systems and general efficiency of warehouse operations on an ongoing basis.Assist the dispatch team during busy periods to pick and pack domestic and international customer orders.About You: Available to work 38 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays.Good physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 25kgs.Current forklift licence, driver's licence and reliable vehicle.A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.Can-do attitude, forward thinking, with the ability to problem solve.Competent computer skills and experience using the Microsoft Office suite.To apply, please submit a cover letter addressing the key criteria listed above, and a current up-to-date resume.
