About the Role:
South Canberra Schools Vocational Education (South Training) is seeking a highly motivated VET Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our vocational education programs while contributing to the overall success of our RTO.
The VET Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of quality systems to enhance VET programs, ensuring adherence to all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, strengthening pathways for students to transition seamlessly into employment or further studies, collaborating with schools, businesses, and government agencies to deliver effective VET programs, managing projects efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and balancing multiple priorities, and providing guidance and support to the VET team, fostering a positive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in VET management or a related field, strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for education and a commitment to student success, and a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
