We are looking for a Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our team!
Greencross Vets Ellenbrook is one of our newer clinics in the area! Co-located next door to a Petbarn store, we have 3 consultation rooms, 1 theatre, separate dog ward, x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment - this is a modern and completely purpose-built clinic with a loyal and growing client base!
What you'll be doing each day: Offering great customer service in person and over the phone, including booking appointments and giving advice. Handling animals with a calm, caring, and fear-free mindset. Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care. Performing minor procedures when required. Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment. What we are looking for: Availability for both weekday and Saturday shifts. Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. 2+ years clinical nursing experience. Applicants must be confident with surgery. An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures. Flexible and adaptable within a team environment. Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential).
