The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors is a private RTO providing Higher Education specialising in the delivery of external education programs in counselling, community services, financial counselling, and various business courses. AIPC and our staff are passionate about assisting people formalise their natural helping abilities so they can support others to lead happier, healthier lives.About the roleReporting to the Training Manager, your key responsibilities would include:Seminar DeliverThe Contractor is to review all content to be delivered, and assessment tasks to be explained to students, and prepare any additional content that they may choose to include within the delivery to students.The Contractor has discretion over how they will present the learning and assessment materials to students, while still ensuring that all content is covered within the overarching structure provided as per the relevant Facilitator Instruction Guide.The Contractor will conduct a seminar of 1 or 2 days in duration (as per the relevant Facilitator Instruction Guide) that meets learning and assessment requirements with students, whilst ensuring that all learning outcomes and regulatory requirements are met.Private AssessmentThe Contractor is to review all content to be delivered, and assessment tasks to be explained to students, and prepare any additional content that they may choose to include within the delivery to students.The Contractor has discretion over how they will present the learning and assessment materials to students, while still ensuring that all content is covered within the overarching structure provided as per the relevant Facilitator Instruction Guide.The Contractor will conduct a private assessment of 2 hours (for 1 student) or 3 hours (for 2 students) that meets learning and assessment requirements, whilst ensuring that all learning outcomes and regulatory requirements are met.Online WorkshopThe Contractor is to review all content to be delivered, and assessment tasks to be explained to students, and prepare any additional content that they may choose to include within the delivery to students.The Contractor will conduct an online workshop of 4 hours in duration that meets learning and assessment requirements with students, whilst ensuring that all learning outcomes and regulatory requirements are met.The Contractor is required to complete all paperwork completion requirements that have been identified by AIPC.Meeting AttendanceAttendance at scheduled Marker/Facilitator meetings – 1 hour per month.About YouMinimum education level of a Diploma of Counselling/Community Services or a related field, however, degree level qualifications in Counselling/Community Services or a related field are preferable.Relevant vocational qualifications and current experience in the counselling profession (minimum two years).Certification in training and assessment (e.g., TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop and implement effective training programs.Having your own premises to facilitate small groups (2-6 students) is desirable.Why work with us?We have a strong student-centric, values-driven culture based on the guiding principle: "Empowering people to help others".
