Vet Construction Teacher

Tradewind are working with a co-educational Catholic Secondary school near Dundas who are searching for a passionate VET Construction teacher to join their team in term 1 2025. This is an ongoing full-time position. The successful applicant will teach Construction to years 11 and 12 and preferably teach stage 4 TAS mandatory and Stage 5 design and technology.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills Qualifications to teach construction and TAS Demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners and respond to a dynamic learning environment Desire to work as part of the wider school team Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role Excellent communication skills Ability to achieve strong academic results Prerequisites Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete) Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes) Have unrestricted working rights in Australia Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references The School Around 1100 students from years 7-12 and 80 teaching staff Dynamic learning community Growth and development opportunities Wellbeing initiatives and resources Why work with Tradewind?
