As a Casual Teacher – Education Programs, you will apply industry best practices and innovative teaching methods across a range of vocational courses, including School-based Education Support and the Diploma of Teacher Education Preparation. You will collaborate with a team of enthusiastic education professionals to lead and monitor program delivery, assessment, and evaluation. A critical aspect of this role will involve tailoring and adapting programs to meet the unique needs of learners and clients across certificate, diploma, and associate degree levels.
Candidates must have classroom experience in Primary or Secondary school settings. The ideal applicant for the Diploma of Teacher Education Preparation will hold a Bachelor of Education – with experience in teaching literacy and/or maths to year 10. For School Based Education Support, the ideal applicant will have classroom experience in Primary or Secondary settings supporting students with identified individual needs to be successful in their learning. We are particularly seeking individuals with a passion for integrating current learning technologies and contemporary pedagogical approaches into their teaching practice.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Experience teaching and/or providing Education Support within a primary or secondary school setting.Demonstrated ability to implement high-quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients.Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.Demonstrated awareness and understanding of Vocational Education and Training policies and frameworks.Experience in mentoring and supporting pre-service Casual Teachers during practical placements.Experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector.Experience with learning management systems and capacity to manage a range of IT systems and software.Experience with writing and developing teaching and learning resources with reference to Training Packages. Qualifications Relevant degree or vocational qualification in Education Support and/or Education/Teaching (primary or secondary). This includes a Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Diploma of Education.TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or its successor.TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, andTAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B.Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education. **This position is open only to applicants who have work rights in Australia.
