About the Role Catholic Schools Broken Bay is currently seeking an efficient and organised VET Administrator on a 12 month temporary, full-time basis, for an immediate start based at our head office in Pennant Hills.
This role provides administrative support for the Pathways & Partnerships team, focusing on Vocational Education and Training (VET) services within the Student Achievement workstream.
This essential position ensures compliance with VET regulations and provides logistical support for student pathways into vocational education, whilst handling sensitive and confidential information and liaising with a broad range of internal & external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the VET RTO Manager and Pathways & Partnerships team Assist in ensuring VET compliance requirements are met, including managing documentation & preparing documentation as required Serve as key point of contact for schools and external VET providers, assisting with queries Organise and coordinate meetings, taking minutes & handling logistical details Manage & maintain databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping related to VET participation & course completions Assist with administration of student work placements, apprenticeships & traineeships Ensure VET related materials & resources are available & accessible for schools Specific Criteria Significant administrative experience specifically within an educational or VET/RTO context Experience in handling compliance & regulatory processes Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable) or equivalent relevant experience Holds a valid WWCC or willingness to obtain Strong interpersonal & written communication skills, with a friendly demeanour Ability to multi-task with a solutions focused mindset Have a high level of attention to detail Experience in organising and coordinating small & large scale meetings Able to adapt & respond to change with the ability to work under pressure and re-prioritise as necessary Benefits of Working with Us Competitive salary on offer (circa 88K + super) Free onsite parking or public transport close by 25% School Fee Discount for eligible employees Annual leave loading and ex-gratia leave at Christmas time Work from home 1 day a week Salary Packaging for eligible employees Application Process Applications should include: A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing the criteria listed above A current resume Applications & enquiries should be sent directly to Brigette Strain at ****** Closing Date: COB, 26 November 2024 Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for this position will not be considered.
