This role will be based on one of our exciting projects in Western Australia, enabling you to engage in various civil works while partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Location: Western Australia
Roster: Based on location
Responsibilities: Review civil and structural site practices against contractual obligations, industry standards, safety compliance, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with scope requirements, making sure all assigned works are completed on time and within budgetary limitations.
Ensure civil works required to be performed for Vestas from subcontractors are carried out in a timely and high-quality manner.
Coordinate construction interfaces with Electrical and other discipline leads.
Review Inspection and test planning of civil components and infrastructure.
Witness inspection and tests of civil components and infrastructure to support the Project Civil Engineers.
Review plant and material selection.
Conduct safety inspections of plant and all other works operations.
Report on progress of inspections/tests and QA/QC submissions.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure site operations are well organized and completed efficiently.
Liaise with and provide feedback to office-based personnel.
Attend site and progress meetings to assist with expert knowledge.
Monitor BOP progress and contribute to deriving solutions or mitigation measures should delays be incurred.
Maintain a good working relationship with onsite clients, landowners, and contractors.
Ensure all work carried out complies with Quality and Site Safety requirements at all times.
Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 5 years' experience in civil and structural constructions Competencies: Management of subcontractors in a site-based construction environment.
Review of civil and structural works in a construction environment.
Experience with Pavement/Road/Drainage construction highly valued.
Experience with Concrete/Foundation construction highly valued.
Experience in negotiating with major stakeholders, both clients/contractors/landowners as required.
Ability to operate within a high-pressure environment.
Experience in construction of Wind farms highly valued.
Strong verbal and written communication/negotiation skills.
Relationship building, both internal and external.
Proactive view and practical approach toward role.
Commercial, Safety, and Risk Awareness.
