Vessel Engineer - MED1 As the world's most extensive coral reef ecosystem, the Great Barrier Reef is a globally outstanding and significant natural wonder, Quicksilver have been bringing guests here and creating memories since 1979. We are looking for a:   SILVERSONIC VESSEL ENGINEER – Marine Engine Driver Grade 1 (MED 1) Applications are being sought for a Vessel Engineer position on board Quicksilver's fleet of vessels in Port Douglas. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintenance, repair and engineering duties as well as assisting with the day-to-day operation of the vessel and able to demonstrate leadership skills and work well in a team environment. Applicants require a current qualification of Marine Engine Driver Grade 1 and experience with Detroit, MTU, Cummins, Scania and Deutz Diesel Engines is desirable. A Coxswain or Master <24m (Master 5) qualification would be an advantage.
