Join our team at Port Huon! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to take on the role of Vessel Compliance Advisor. The role
You will play a crucial role in supporting marine compliance processes and ensuring that Huon's vessels adhere to MAST/AMSA requirements. Key responsibilities:
Compliance support:
oversee scheduling and documentation for vessel inspections, maintenance, and survey related repairs to ensure fleet compliance. Documentation management:
develop and maintain essential compliance documents, including safety management systems, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments. Stakeholder engagement:
build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, providing expert advice and professional recommendations on compliance matters.
This position is based in Port Huon working Monday to Friday each week. About you
You have relevant industry experience or a qualification in Business Administration, complemented by strong technical knowledge and a solid understanding of AMSA and MAST compliance regulations. Ideally, you have Master 5 and MED3 experience, demonstrating your maritime expertise. You are adept with the Microsoft Office suite and possess well-developed organisational and time management skills. You excel in communication and interpersonal relationships, thriving on building strong connections with stakeholders.
