Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing support of Advanced Control Applications and Process Control System Platforms.
You'll be collaborating with stakeholders of all levels to identify priorities, aid in troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall safety, cost and production outcomes.Control strategy design and integration of APC applications into new and/or existing control schemes. Support the maintenance of control system infrastructure. Assists in the training of operating personnel to ensure effective usage of the systems. Provide support for site and corporate technology projects with the design and implementation of new control system solutions as required, including Capital uplift and decarbonisation. Create and maintain process control-related procedures, SWIs, and standards. Work with consultants, suppliers, and vendors to plan technology updates and to ensure their services are provided in accordance to plans, standards, and specifications. What you'll need to be successful in this role: Must have experience in Advanced Process Control & control system strategy design (also known as Model Predictive Control or Multivariable Control) Honeywell DCS (Distributed Control Systems) experience or equivalent - Yokagowa, Delta V etc. Honeywell Profit Suite / Honeywell APC Forge software experience or similar - Aspen DMC / DMC3 etc. Schneider PLC experience – ProWORX 32, Unity Pro / EcoStruxure Control Expert Good understanding of Instrumentation and Control communication networks and protocols Previous site experience would be highly beneficial, doesn't have to be specific to mining Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Want to hear more?
