About The Role: The Senior Procurement Manager provides professional procurement advice to clients and business units across the Department of Finance (Finance) and develops and/or manages complex and high-risk whole of government or departmental contracts. This involves developing business cases and procurement plans, tender documents and evaluation reports, and contract management plans, as well as negotiation and consultation with stakeholders.
This role provides Category leadership for whole of government common use arrangements (CUAs) in the ICT Solutions CUA Category team. This involves managing and redeveloping complex ICT CUAs, providing professional procurement advice and team leadership to CUA Managers within the team.
About You: You will be an experienced procurement professional with a strong understanding of ICT procurement, especially whole of government CUAs and/or complex arrangements. You will have significant experience in development and/or management of ICT arrangements, advising and supporting Agencies to maximise benefits in procurement. You will have knowledge of procuring for government and current ICT technology and trends.
